Lead Pastor: Michael Perkins

Michael’s passion in ministry to see people’s lives radically changed by Jesus. He believes that the best way to share Jesus’ love is to simply demonstrate it.  He believes that when we serve others and not expect anything in return, that they will come to know Jesus as a direct result.

Associate Pastor: Milton Watson

Milton was born into a Christian family and raised in the Church of The Nazarene in Victoria, VA. He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in VBS at 11 and was mentored and taught by many Godly men and women through his teen years.

Soon after High school he married and moved away from home. It was not more than a year later he answered the call into ministry and began the course of study. Desiring a deeper more concentrated preparation, he moved to Colorado Springs to graduate from Nazarene Bible College
From there he returned to Virginia to assist in the planting of a church in South Hill.
A few years later he accepted his first pastorate in Houghton Lake, MI.

He is an ordained elder in The Church of the Nazarene. He has pastored and/or served in numerous ministry positions in Virginia, Wisconsin, Northern Michigan, Illinois and now Kentucky.

After the devastating break up of a nearly 30 year marriage, he met a sweetheart of a lady (Rita) who became his best friend and soul mate. She had also experienced a devastating tragedy in her own marriage which turned her to Jesus Christ.

In February of 2010 they married and rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ. He later became the Youth Pastor at Rantoul, IL and together were blessed with a thriving ministry to the youth. He also served as Worship leader and co-taught the Teen Sunday School Class with Rita. In the Fall of 2016 they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to become a part of River City Hope Church and moved to Louisville.

Favorite quote: “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me”

Between them, Milton and Rita have three daughters and one son and five grand children.

Worship Pastor: Logan Wells

Logan’s passion in ministry is to see people delivered and set free from addictions and sin through an encounter with Jesus. He desires to lead others in prophetic worship and see the chains of bondage broken. He believes that no one is too far in sin that they can’t be redeemed. His favorite scripture is Hebrews 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their iniquities,

And I will remember their sins no more.”

In 2011 Logan was tied down in the bondage of sin and addiction and found himself far from the biblical teachings of his childhood.  Not far from the bottom and sick of the “life” he cried out to Jesus and was radically delivered.

Logan answered his call into Music Ministry in 2013. Since then he has been a part of planting CenterPoint Church of the Nazarene, lead worship at numerous revivals and Shared about the Deliverance Jesus has done in his life.  In 2016 he became Worship Pastor at Albany United Church of the Nazarene. Logan is currently pursuing ordination with Bresee Bible College and has accepted the call as Worship Pastor at River City Hope Church where he feels called to help usher revival into the city.

Logan married his best friend Natoshia in 2006. “Tosh” has a passion for women’s ministry, to see sisters in Christ grow and see marriages flourish.  Together they have adopted two children, Johnathan (15) and Katie(4) and look to keep expanding their family.
